Haverford Crime Blotter: Identity Theft, Fraud, Theft, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The latest crime blotter from Haverford Township Police has been released.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Sept. 15 and Sept. 21.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS

• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Sept. 15 at 8:41 a.m. – An unknown male stole a chainsaw and paint supplies on Sept. 9 and the same male stole a chainsaw and laundry detergent on Sept. 10.
• Fraud at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. – An unknown person made a $3,071.01 purchase with a fraudulent check.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 16 at 5:57 p.m. – An unknown female stole laundry detergent and fled the store.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. – An unknown male stole $532 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
• Disorderly Conduct at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Sept. 17 at 8:09 p.m. – 16-year-old male was cited for disorderly conduct.
• Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of North Eagle Road, on Sept. 19 at 10:19 a.m. – Victim reported that his wallet containing $40 and credit cards was stolen from his locker. Two unauthorized purchases were made with one of the credit cards.
• Fraud at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of Railroad Avenue, on Sept. 19 at 2:25 p.m. – Victim reported $6,000 was withdrawn from his account without his permission or knowledge.
• Disorderly Conduct at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Sept. 19 at 9:59 p.m. – 28-year-old female, 2000 block of Woodside Lane, Broomall was cited for disorderly conduct.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 20 at 9:41 p.m. – An unknown male filled a shopping cart with merchandise and fled the store.
• Identity Theft at the 600 block of Aubrey Avenue on Sept. 20 at 6:15 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 700 block of College Avenue on Sept. 20 at 6:35 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Allgates Drive on Sept. 20 at 627 p.m. – Victim reported someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Fraud at the 100 block of Campbell Avenue on Sept. 20 at 1:42 p.m. – An unknown person made an unauthorized purchase with the victim’s debit card.
• Identity Theft at the 300 block of Llanerch Avenue on Sept. 20 at 2:24 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. – Two unknown females attempted to steal $1,125.54 worth of merchandise.
• Fraud at the 800 block of Clifford Avenue on Sept. 21 at 6:32 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to make an unauthorized purchase with his debit card.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Shawnee Road on Sept. 21 at 10:28 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.

ARRESTS

• 32-year-old male, 500 block of Raskob Drive, Claymont, Delaware. Charges: Warrant and suspended driver's license. Location: Haverford Road and Ardmore Avenue. Date: Sept. 16 at 9:23 p.m.
• 25-year-old female, 900 block of Clifford Brown Walk Road, Wilmington, Delaware. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license. Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 17 at 11:50 p.m.
• 27-year-old male, 400 block of East Eagle Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and suspended driver's license. Location: 1600 block of Winton Avenue. Date: Sept. 17 at 8:52 p.m.
• 50-year-old female, 1000 block of Eagle Road, Wayne. Charges: DUI and suspended driver's license. Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 17 at 955 p.m.
• 27-year-old female, 1100 block of East 14th Street, Wilmington, Delaware. Charges: Possession of marijuana. Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 17 at 11:50 p.m.
