Haverford Crime Blotter: Identity Theft, Public Drunkenness, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Township Police issued their weekly crime blotter last week, highlighting incidents in the township that occurred between July 7 and July 12.

The blotter also includes arrests and citations issued.

INCIDENTS:

• Bicycle Theft at the unit block of E. Turnbull Avenue on July 7 at 4:30 p.m.
• Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Lenox Road on July 7 at 6:05 p.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Kathmere Road on July 7 at 12:42 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Fairlamb Avenue on July 7 at 1:09 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 300 block of Llanerch Avenue on July 7 at 6:20 p.m. – Someone attempted to open five credit card accounts using the victim’s identity.
• Identity Theft at the 1400 block of Parkside Drive on July 7 at 6:45 p.m. – An unauthorized bank account was opened using the victim’s identity.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Rodmor Road on July 8 at 12:30 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Treaty Road on July 8 at 1:54 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 400 block of Kenmore Road on July 8 at 3:06 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Fraud at the 400 block of Sagamore Road on July 8 at 9:25 p.m. – Victim reported that someone made an unauthorized withdrawal from her checking account.
• Identity Theft at the 1700 block of Woodmere Way on July 8 at 6:09 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Theft at the 500 block of Cumberland Road on July 9 at 12:14 p.m. – A contractor reported over $3,000.00 worth of tools missing.
• Identity Theft at the 500 block of Darby Road on July 9 at 1:05 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Braeburn Road on July 9 at 1:05 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Turnbull Avenue on July 9 at 2:07 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Harvard Road on July 9 at 7:50 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Bicycle Theft at Merry Place, 600 block of Glendale Road, on July 10 at 1:13 am. – Four bikes were stolen.
• Identity Theft at the 500 block of Furlong Avenue on July 10 at 11:58 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Glenn Terrace on July 10 at 12:41 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Campbell Avenue on July 10 at 2:07 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Brookline Boulevard on July 10 at 3:38 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a Verizon, AT&T and Capital One account.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Bennington Road on July 10 at 5 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Fraud at the 1200 block of Edgewood Road on July 11 at 7:10 p.m. – An unauthorized withdraw was made from the victim’s checking account
• Public Drunkenness at the 3000 block of Darby Road on July 11 at 5:37 a.m. – 36-year-old male, 300 block of Rittenhouse Circle was cited for public drunkenness.
• Identity Theft at the 100 block of Whitemarsh Road on July 12 at 9:30 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 2400 block of Poplar Road on July 12 at 12:40 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 1300 block of Harrington Road on July 12 at 2 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Brentwood Road on July 12 at 5:28 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 200 block of Pine Ridge Road on July 12 at 5:39 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Ashton Road on July 12 at 10:28 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 600 block of Valley Road on July 12 at 9:16 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 800 block of Merion Avenue on July 12 at 3:23 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 1300 block of Robinson Avenue on July 12 at 4:54 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
• Identity Theft at the 1300 block of Robinson Avenue on July 12 at 5:22 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.

ARRESTS:

• 38-year-old male, 600 block of Naylors Run Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver and public drunkenness. Location: 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: July 12 at 4:02 a.m.
