Haverford Crime Blotter: Identity Theft, Vandalism, Drugs, More

Police reported seven separate incidences of identity theft last week. See details on theses incidents and more here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township have released their crime blotter.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Oct. 6 and Oct. 12.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Theft at Haverford Recreation Center, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on Oct. 6 at 6:39 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – Credit cards were stolen. Two unauthorized purchases were made with the credit cards.
  • Identity Theft at Knights Corp., 2100 block of Darby Road, on Oct. 6 at 4:03 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 2400 block of Olcott Avenue on Oct. 6 at 5:53 p.m. – An unknown person attempted to withdraw $3,254.70 from the victim’s bank account.
  • Criminal Mischief at Veterans Field, unit block of West Manoa Road, on Oct. 6 at 9 a.m. – Graffiti was reported.
  • Theft at Panera Bread, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Oct. 7 at 1119 hours – An unknown person stole the victim’s wallet from her purse.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to steal $3,320 worth of electrical wire.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Fairfield Road on Oct. 7 at 9:28 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Fraud at the 300 block of Harvest Lane on Oct. 7 at 9:05 a.m. – Someone accessed the victim’s Instacart and ordered $500 worth of merchandise.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Quaker Lane on Oct. 7 at 12:46 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Theft at the 600 block of Merion Avenue on Oct. 8 at 4:55 p.m. – An unlocked vehicle was entered – two diaper bags were stolen containing credit cards and keys to the vehicle.
  • Bicycle Theft at the 200 block of Merwood Lane on Oct. 8 at 6:11 p.m.
  • Retail Theft at Fine Wine and Good Spirits, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 8 at 7:42 p.m. – An unknown male stole $30 worth of tequila.
  • Identity Theft at the 3000 block of Hermosa Lane on Oct. 8 at 10:27 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to request a new debit card and used a copy of his driver’s license to withdraw $1,000 from his bank account.
  • Vandalism at the 100 block of West Eagle Road on Oct. 10 at 5:16 a.m. – Residence was egged.
  • Theft at the 600 block of Lakeside Avenue on Oct. 11 at 3:55 p.m. – Victim reported that $1,500 worth of tools was stolen from his truck and a bicycle was stolen from his yard.
  • Theft at the 1300 block of Delmont Avenue on Oct. 11 at 6:18 a.m. – Vehicle was entered – two bags were stolen containing $20, medical card and prescription medication.
  • Identity Theft at the 1300 block of Steel Road on Oct. 11 at 6:06 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Bicycle Theft at the unit block of North Manoa Road on Oct. 12 at 2:09 p.m.
  • Identity Theft at the 600 block of Penfield Avenue on Oct. 12 at 1:27 a.m. – Over $6,000 was withdrawn from the victim’s bank account without her permission or knowledge.

ARRESTS

  • 37-year-old male, 700 block of Atwood Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a permit, possession of firearm prohibited, public drunkenness, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia with the intent to deliver. Location: 600 block of Kenilworth Road. Date: Oct. 6 at 10:53 p.m.
  • 27-year-old male, 400 block of Arlington Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: False identification to law enforcement, Possession of marijuana, driving without a license. Location: 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Oct. 7 at 10:46 a.m.
  • 46-year-old male, 1500 block of East Penn Avenue, Wernersville. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: West Chester Pike and Oxford Hill Lane. Date: Oct. 8 at 2:37 p.m.
  • 19-year-old male, 200 block of North 11th Street, Reading. Charges: Identity theft, receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking. Location: 200 block of Farnham Road. Date: Oct. 8 at 2:42 p.m.
  • 38-year-old male, 100 block of W. Eagle Road, Havertown. Charges: Receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, harassment, criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking. Location: unit block of Sunny Hill Lane. Date: Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.
  • 52-year-old female, 1500 block of Burmont Road, Havertown. Charges: Indirect criminal contempt. Location: 1500 block of Burmont Road. Date: Oct. 12 at 10:52 a.m.
