- Identity Theft – 25 residents reported that someone used their identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Identity Theft at the 800 block of Wynnewood Avenue on July 22 at 3:43 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open a credit card account.
- Fraud at the 1700 block of Melrose Avenue on July 22 at 9:13 a.m. – An unknown person made an unauthorized purchase with the victim's credit card.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at U-haul, unit block of Township Line Road, on July 23 at 2 p.m.
- Criminal Mischief at the 1000 block of Weller Avenue on July 23 at 1746 hours – Fence was damaged.
- Vandalism at Wawa, 1000 block of West Darby Road, on July 23 at 10:22 p.m. – Vehicle side mirror was ripped off.
- Vandalism at the 100 block of Earlington Road on July 24 at 5:03 p.m. – A lawn statue was destroyed.
- Liquor Law Violation at the unit block of Tunbridge Circle on July 24 at 4:11 a.m. – Two 18-year-old males, two 19-year-old females and a 17-year-old female were cited for underage drinking.
- Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 7000 block of Parkview Drive, on July 25 at 2:52 p.m. – Vehicle window was smashed – wallet, sunglasses and cell phone were stolen.
- Fraud at the 2700 block of Saint Mary’s Road on July 26 at 9:55 a.m. – Victim reported she was contacted from a person claiming to represent PayPal. They advised her of a fraudulent purchase and instructed her to purchase gift cards and send them to his phone number. The victim sent $3,000 worth of gift cards before recognizing the scam.
- Disorderly Conduct at Darby Road and Mercer Avenue on July 26 at 3:41 p.m. – 30-year-old male, 7700 block of Parkview Road, Upper Darby was cited for disorderly conduct, careless driving and no vehicle inspection.
- Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on July 27 at 5:32 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
- Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on July 27 at 7:22 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of East Township Line Road, on July 27 at 12:05 p.m.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at Meade’s Automotive, 700 block of Biddle Street, on July 27 at 1:38 p.m.
ARRESTS:
- 35-year-old male, 1000 block of Bon Air Road, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 600 block of Furlong Avenue. Date: July 23 at 4:08 p.m.
- 40-year-old male, 6400 block of 13th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI. Location: 500 block of Darby Road. Date: July 28 at 2:19 a.m.
