When officers arrived they found Siryonon the floor in the home's kitchen near the sink with a laceration on the left side of her chest.
Police then launched a crime scene investigation with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Through the course of the investigation, authorities learned on May 26, 2016, the victim filed a report against her ex-boyfriend for making threats.
Witness statements from seven different individuals described Hussain as abusive and violent in nature. One witness told police that the victim was afraid of Kiadee, who threatened and stalked her, and once told her, “If I can’t have you then no other man will have you." The victim ultimately ended the romantic relationship with Hussain because he was extremely violent.
As the result of video surveillance which confirmed Hussain's whereabouts on the day of the murder along with witness testimony and cooperation, Hussain was arrested by the Darby Borough Police for the murder of Siryon on Oct. 21, 2016.
"The defendant in this case, Hussain Kiadee, is a violent and dangerous man who brutally murdered his former girlfriend in her own home, needlessly cutting her life tragically short," Copeland said. "While we are extremely satisfied with this sentenced of life in prison, we know that it will not bring back the life of the victim, Fabine Sunny Siryon, nor will it undo the damage this brutal murder caused to her family and loved ones and the surrounding community. We commend the community and individuals who came forward to provide valuable testimony in this case which resulted in this conviction. I would like to commend Assistant District Attorney Ryan Grace for his outstanding efforts to bring this case to justice, and Detective Brian Pitts and the Darby Borough Police Department for conducting a swift and thorough investigation that led to the quick apprehension of this dangerous and violent individual."
