North Penn Schools Close Early Monday

LANSDALE, PA -- The North Penn School District will close early Monday due to the coming storm, officials announced.

A wintry mix of sleet and snow planned to hit the area between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The high school and Northbridge will close at 12:12 p.m., the middle schools at 12:55 p.m., and Bridle Path and Walton Farm at 1 p.m., officials said.

All other elementaries will close at 1:40 p.m.

There will be no PM Kindergarten, and AM Kindergarten was let out at 11 a.m.

All after school and evening activities have been cancelled.

A winter weather advisory has been issued in Eastern Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service said.
