The Newtown Theatre is hosting two budget-friendly screenings of Halloween movies for kids. "Paranorman" will be screened on Oct. 23 and "Hotel Transylvania" will be screened on Oct. 30. Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for kids age 12 and under.Click here to learn more.

Newtown has set the date for its annual Halloween Art Scene event. Festivities will be held Oct. 22 on State and Sycamore streets. There will be window painting, a pet parade, and a cupcake contest. Click here to learn more.

Newtown Borough Halloween Parade
Newtown's annual Halloween Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29. The parade goes from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and starts at The Stocking Works parking lot on South State Street. It ends at the Newtown Theatre, where prizes will be given out following the event. Click here to learn more.
Newtown Township Halloween Parade At Municipal Complex
Newtown Township's Halloween Parade, for children 3 to 6, is set for Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Township Municipal Complex. During the event, costumed kids are invited to parade around the township complex, including through the police department, public works, administrative offices and more. Click here to learn more.
Haunted House at Sleepy Hollow
A Halloween attraction being billed as Bucks County's "most haunted house" is now open in Newtown. Sleepy Hollow, located at 881 Highland Road in Newtown, is a farm that hosts a variety of Halloween attractions. There is a haunted house, called the "House in the Hollow," a Sleepy Hollow hayride and a Field of Fright corn maze. Click here to learn more.
