We're putting this first for a reason. As in, they're delicious. And if you don't eat them, well, we just feel bad for your fall. There's lots to love about Solebury Orchards, located on Creamery Road in Solebury Township. But when you go to pick your apples, DO NOT forget the donuts. You might have to wait for a fresh batch; these puppies sell out quick. Click here for details.

March in the Newtown Halloween Parade

This is a real-deal community Halloween Parade. Anyone can enter, you just need to register the morning of the event, which is held on State Street in Newtown Borough. Prizes are awarded by category. Don't underestimate your competition, however. There are some seriously amazing costumes flaunted at this parade. (One year, there was even a real, live miniature horse involved...how can you beat that?) Even if you don't enter, come to watch. Organizers have not yet announced the official date, but it's typically held the Saturday before Halloween. Click here for details.

Navigate the corn maze at Hellerick's

Seriously, what fun is fall without a corn maze? Hellerick's Family Farm, four miles north of Doylestown, is the epicenter of fall family fun in Bucks County and the grounds feature a five-acre corn maze. But if getting lost in tall stalks of vegetation is not your idea of fun, or just seems downright creepy to you, then don't worry. There is a lot to keep you and the younger kids busy while your teens run through the maze. Other activities include: a tractor tire climb and tunnel; giant corn chute slides; a spider web climb and giant echo tubes. Click here for details.

Pick pumpkins at None Such Farms

Another fall gem in Bucks County is None Such Farms in Buckingham Township. They host a pumpkin picking festival weekends in October that features pick-your-own pumpkins and gourds, live bluegrass music, hayrides, a petting zoo and more. Great for little kids. Click here for details.

Drink pumpkin ale at Triumph Brewery

So now that you spent the day pumpkin picking with the kids, are you ready for a drink? Good, because Triumph Brewery in New Hope makes its own pumpkin ale. It's generally on tap sometime in October. The highly-anticipated fall beer arrival is generally announced on the brewery's Facebook page. Click here for details.

Eat pumpkin ice cream at Owowcow

If beer isn't your thing but the best way you know how to get into the fall spirit is by eating or drinking, then look no further. Owowcow's pumpkin ice cream will make you believe in miracles. It's like a really creamy, cold bite of the way pumpkin tastes in your dreams. As of Sept. 8, it is available at all three Owowcow locations. Click here for details.
