A look back on the year's most memorable storms and weather events.

It was a wild year of weather in 2018, with multiple storms causing damage and resulting in power losses and car crashes.
The year began with something called a "bomb cyclone" that left at least a foot of snow in many areas. Then four nor'easters arrived during the late winter and early spring. There was even another storm in early April.

'Bomb Cyclone' Hits Pennsylvania In January
A powerful winter storm arrived to the Philadelphia area in January, bringing snow, whipping winds and frigid temperatures. It was known as a "bomb cyclone" — which happens when a cold air mass collides with a warm air mass, such as air over warm ocean waters, according to the National Weather Service. "All storms are cyclones, and genesis means the creation or beginning," AccuWeather says. "In this case, bomb refers to explosive development. Altogether the term means explosive storm strengthening." READ MORE.

A tornado wreaked havoc on a Northeastern Pennsylvania town Wednesday night, and there are some unbelievable photos and videos of the aftermath.
