Hi! My name is Alaina and I am a junior at Point Park University, as well as an intern with KnowingMe. During my time with KnowingMe, I have gotten to know the company and product inside and out.
I’m someone who really struggled with choosing a major when it came down to it. I’ve wanted to have every career under the sun and never really felt confident about my choices. I wish I had a resource like KnowingMe to lean on during those years before college.
KnowingMe is so much more than an aptitude test. Its questions dig deep into the workings of your brain to define what drives and motivates you, while selecting matches and insights that validate your interests and feelings. I am currently studying multimedia communications with an interest in digital marketing and content creation. When I took the test, it recommended a position in marketing! This was incredibly validating that I am on the right path in my studies.
Perhaps my favorite part, though, are the personality insights. KnowingMe’s assessment provides 3 key traits and 3 corresponding caution areas: these hit the nail right on the head. Acknowledging these traits taught me how to leverage fundamental parts of my personality in positive ways, particularly in my academic and professional pursuits.
Though I heard it when I was first joining the team, I now also recognize that KnowingMe really is a unique and invaluable resource to students and professionals everywhere. Nowhere else can you find an assessment so comprehensive, validating, and informative. I hope that anyone who is in search of better understanding themselves, their career, or major, will take advantage of KnowingMe’s product.
