Officers also handled multiple domestic disturbance calls and are investigating an alleged assault involving a delivery driver at McCaffrey's, underscoring the importance of staying alert to both fraud and neighborhood safety issues.
   

• Bestselling Novelist Final Judge For Bucks County Short Fiction Contest (levittownnow.com) — Bucks County writers have a chance to share the stage with bestselling crime novelist Dennis Tafoya at Bucks County Community College's Newtown campus this November. Adults countywide can submit original short fiction by Oct. 8 for cash prizes and a reading on the Newtown campus, though entries must be unpublished and created without any use of artificial intelligence.
