• Eagles Legend To Headline Inaugural CardFest Expo In Bucks Co. (patch.com) — Newtown sports fans and collectors can meet Eagles legend LeSean "Shady" McCoy when he headlines the inaugural CardFest Expo at the Newtown Sports & Event Center on October 25. The all-day show will feature celebrity box breaks, vendors, kids' activities, and a VIP experience that includes an exclusive hour with McCoy, photo opportunities, and autograph options. Local families and hobbyists can buy tickets and vendor spots online.
   

• Newtown Company Defrauded Out Of Thousands: Police (patch.com) — Newtown Township police are investigating a major fraud case after a local business owner reported their company was swindled out of about $256,000 on Sept. 22. Officers have not released the company's name or further details, but the sizable loss has prompted an active investigation that could concern many in Newtown's business community.
