Storms To Kick Off Weekend, Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued
Flood-prone creeks and streams could see significant rises across the Schuylkill and Delaware basins, the NWS said.

Some wet and windy conditions are on the way to start off the weekend, and a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued in advance due to potential flooding and high winds.
The National Weather Service warns that storms are on the way, with the worst of the downpours predicted to come Friday night. The storms could be severe enough to cause localized flooding, the NWS said.
Street flooding may be exacerbated where fallen leaves are clogging storm drains, AccuWeather forecasters warn.

A total of 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected, with locally up to 3 inches possible. "Flood prone creeks and streams could also see significant rises across the Schuylkill, Delaware, Rancocas, Raritan,
and Passaic basins," the Hazardous Weather Outlook said.
The storms will bring windy conditions, with gusts of 35 to 45 mph possible. A Wind Advisory will be needed if wind gusts look like they'll increase to 50 mph, the NWS said.

"This fast-strengthening storm will bring a range of impacts and likely lead to travel delays across the Northeast," AccuWeather Meteorologist Bill Deger warned in a news release.
Once the storms clear Saturday, expect breezy conditions with a high temperature in the mid 50s. It will get chilly at night, with a low in the 30s.
Winds will die down by Sunday. Skies will be clear that day with a high temperature again in the mid 50s.
Looking ahead to Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 6, there is a chance of some showers with temperatures in the upper 60s.
