EAGLEVILLE, PA — Within a period of just six hours, two inmates died at Montgomery County Correctional Facility last Friday, officials have confirmed.
Donald Levengood, 54, suffered a pulmonary embolism at about 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 2, the Montgomery County Coroner's Office said. An autopsy determined that the man died of natural causes.
And then about six hours later, at 8:16 p.m., Michael Lennon, 52, died of suicide after hanging himself, officials said.

They're not the first individuals who had been prosecuted or accused of crimes against children to turn up dead in a southeastern Pennsylvania jail cell recently. David Kennedy, a pediatrician charged with child pornography, was found dead shortly after his arrest in Dec. 2016. A cause of death has still not been determined and an investigation is ongoing.
The incidents are just the latest in a recent spate of deaths inside prisons in southeastern Pennsylvania. On Jan. 28, two inmates, each in a different prison, passed away. One died at a Bucks County prison and another died at Graterford.
