The Roys were found dead in their Kitty Knight Drive home on May 1. Authorities say they were killed sometime overnight Monday, April 30 to Tuesday, May 1 by a 26-year-old neighbor, Daniel Mooney. Hours later, Mooney was found dead in Philadelphia's Kensington section of a suspected drug overdose.

Police believe the couple had no prior contact with Mooney. Authorities say he entered through an unlocked door, and it was evident a struggle ensued.
