Hanover Company Delivers 358K-SF Lehigh Valley Industrial Project (connectcre.com) — A new 358,000-square-foot industrial facility has just been completed at 770 Savage Road in Northampton, potentially bringing jobs and increased truck traffic to the area. The Class A warehouse features 51 dock doors and modern specs aimed at big industrial users. Its location, marketed for access to New York and New Jersey ports, could reshape local industrial activity.

Duct tape used for repairs: What Northampton County restaurant inspectors found (lehighvalleylive.com) — Recent Northampton County health inspections found all listed restaurants in compliance, including several in nearby Bath that Northampton residents may frequent. 3. Lehigh Valley to host free fall prevention events in response to an increase in fall deaths (wfmz.com) — Lehigh and Northampton counties are teaming up this Friday to offer free fall-prevention events at local senior centers, aiming to protect older adults after a rise in deadly falls. Experts will provide safety screenings, education, and simple tools like grip socks and nightlights. Northampton residents with aging family members can attend to learn practical ways to make homes safer.
   

4. Week of Sept. 24 (homenewspa.com) — Northampton is mourning the passing of 77-year-old Eleanor J. Lalik, a longtime Gracedale Nursing Home employee and former bartender at her family's Anchor Hotel in Walnutport. Loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she leaves deep roots across Northampton and nearby communities. Friends and family can pay their respects Thursday, Sept. 24, at Harding Funeral Home in Slatington, with burial at Slatedale Cemetery.
