Security Camera Checks Advised For Northampton Vehicle Theft Reports

Northampton Township police said residents should review footage after reports of a vehicle theft and stolen items from inside vehicles.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Northampton Township Police Department is asking residents along two streets to check their security cameras after a report of a vehicle theft and several calls for the theft of items from vehicles.

Police were asking residents who live in the area of Windsor Drive and Fairhill Drive to check their cameras for the reported incidents that are believed to have occurred sometime Friday morning, police said.

Police said that anyone who finds footage of the crimes on their cameras to call police headquarters at 215-322-6111 and ask for the detective division.

Over the past few months, the township has reported numerous vehicle thefts and issued warnings and advisories.

Earlier this month, police reported several vehicle thefts in the township's Churchville section.

Last month, police reported separate vehicle thefts in Richboro and Ivyland.

Those thefts included three vehicles (Rolls Royce, Bentley and a Lamborghini) were stolen from an Oxford Drive residence in the township's Ivyland section.

Police urge residents to remember to lock their vehicle doors and take all valuables out overnight.

Anyone with information on the vehicle thefts or who comes across any suspicious activity should contact the Northampton Township Police Department headquarters or Bucks County Police Radio at 215-357-8700 to file a report.
