Full Repair Of Collapsed Interstate 95 Area Complete With Ramp Opening
A new ramp from Cottman Avenue to southbound Interstate 95 is open after the truck crash and fire caused massive damage to the area in 2023.

PHILADELPHIA — As of noon Tuesday, the repair project related to the collapsed portion of Interstate 95 is fully complete with the opening of a new ramp to the highway.
According to PennDOT, the new ramp from Cottman Avenue to southbound Interstate 95 opened at noon Tuesday, substantially completing the third and final contract to reconstruct the Cottman Avenue Interchange and widen I-95 to four continuous lanes between Rhawn and Levick streets in Northeast Philadelphia.
The new ramp was built as part of the $52.7 million I-95 Section CP3 contract
