Man Dies After Shooting Inside Pittsburgh Residence
A man died Thursday after being shot in the chest inside a Pittsburgh rental home, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man called 911 from a Carrick residence shortly before noon Thursday to say he had been shot. Several hours later he was dead.
Police responded to a residence on Wynoka Street. at Brownsville Road, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
It’s not known how many people live inside the rental home, which has multiple private bedrooms and a common area.

Public safety officials did not immediately identify any suspect in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
