Popular Pittsburgh Ice Cream Shop Hitting The Road
One of Pittsburgh's most notable ice cream shops soon will be selling its treats from a truck.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Page's, perhaps the city's favorite place for ice cream and other frozen confections, is going mobile.
The ice cream shop announced on social media Monday that it has purchased a truck and will be selling its wares throughout the region.
"We just bought a truck," a post on Page's Facebook page stated.

"We'll be working on renovating it and getting it ready to hit the road through the season and sharing updates along the way. We plan on having it up and running later this season if everything goes according to plan.
"We're so excited for this next big adventure, thank you for all the support you've given us to get us here."

Formerly called the Page Dairy Mart, the business at the intersection of East Carson Street and Becks Run Road on the South Side has been in operation since 1951. The menu includes soft-serve ice cream, classic and specialty sundaes, swirls, slushes, smoothies, sandwiches and more.
