4th Suspect In Roxborough High Shooting Taken Into Custody

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Dayron Burney-Thorn, who is still a fugitive from justice.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Another suspect has been taken into police custody in connection with the deadly shooting outside Roxborough High School in late September.

Saleem Miller, 16, has been charged with murder, four counts of aggravated assault, and related crimes, according to authorities.

Miller is the fourth person taken into custody in connection with the shooting that killed 14-year-old Nicolas Elizalde and hurt four other teens on the 4700 block of Pechin Street in Roxborough back on Sept. 27.

Troy Fletcher, 15, Yaaseen Bivins, 21, and Zyheid Jones, 17, are all in custody on charges of murder, firearms violations, as well as four counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
