Accused Roxborough High Shooters Appear In Court
Yaaseen Bivins, Troy Fletcher, Zyhied Jones, and Saleem Miller are alleged to be the gunmen involved in the deadly shooting at the school.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Three teens and an adult had preliminary hearings Tuesday in connection with the deadly shooting outside Roxborough High School.
Saleem Miller, 16, Troy Fletcher, 15, Yaaseen Bivins, 21, and Zyheid Jones, 17, all appeared in court Tuesday for hearings related to the Sept. 27, 2022 shooting.
They are charged with murder, firearms violations, attempted murder, aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

The shooting killed 14-year-old Nicholas Elizalde, of Havertown, and injured four other teens.
A fifth person, Dayron Burney-Thorn, 16, is also wanted on murder and related charges stemming from the shooting.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Bivins in August was found guilty on charges related to a July 2020 crash that injured a woman and killed her unborn child and was out on bail when the deadly shooting occurred, court records show.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in that case on Jan. 19.
