Ages 11-15
In this camp, teens will explore the traditional techniques of sculpture, and focus their attention on the study of form. Students will explore sculpture as a three-dimensional art form by modeling with clay; working with plaster; casting and carving with soap stone and/or balsa wood, as well as creating and constructing assemblage sculpture. Students will work through direct observation as well as working from their imagination. Students will produce three sculptures. Materials fee is included in the tuition.
