These are some of the events planned in Bucks County this weekend:
"Rocky Horror Show" Launches At Bucks County Playhouse
The Bucks County Playhouse’s October tradition returns — with an all-new production of “Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show!” A musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter, his “perfect” creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures. The play starts on Oct. 13 and runs through Oct. 28. Visit the playhouse website for more details.

George Washington's Cherry Tree, 285 Years Later, In Morrisville
A gathering will be held at noon Saturday at Robert Morris Plaza in Morrisville Saturday to commemorate George Washington's Cherry Tree, 285 years later. Organizers expect to hold the ceremony for a short time but it might be ideal to bring an umbrella. The cherry tree of course is part of myth or legend when Washington couldn't tell a lie about cutting down the cherry tree. George himself is expected to be there to share the history.

Slate Hill Cemetery Ghost Tour Sunday In Lower Makefield Township
Slate Hill Burying Ground, with most of its graves dating to 18th-century Quaker settlers, was established in 1690. It's located at Yardley-Morrisville Road and is probably the oldest burial ground in Bucks County. It will also be home Sunday evening to a ghost tour from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested. And there will be stories to tell about those who are buried there.
