Boy, 17, Tried To Kill Teen At Lower Bucks Hotel: Court Records
A Lower Bucks County teenager faces attempted murder charges and numerous offenses for trying to kill another teenager in the parking lot of a Bensalem hotel, authorities said. Court records state that the 17-year-old Bristol boy fired at least five bullets at an unidentified teenager outside the Best Western on the 3400 block of Street Road in Bensalem on May 14. SEPTA Proposes Regional Rail Fare Hike, Dropping Discounts
Facing a $240 million annual budget deficit, SEPTA Thursday announced a regional rail fare increase and the elimination of some travel discounts. SEPTA said the proposed fare adjustments would go into effect on Dec. 1. With the state budget providing less than one-fourth of what the authority requested and the exhaustion of federal COVID relief funds, SEPTA said the need for a permanent solution grows more urgent by the day. The Bucks County District Attorney's Office provided residents with information about how vehicle thefts can happen to anyone and anywhere. $800K In Property Owner Funds Returned In Bucks Co.:
Bucks County Treasurer Kris Ballerini has recovered $800,000 in property owner funds, returning $500,000 to their rightful owners and doling out the remaining $300,000 to towns and schools. The franchise owners of the fast food chain known for its roast beef sandwiches posted on the Warminster Community Group Facebook page that the Street Road location will be opening soon.
