Bullet Found At Montco HS, School Dismissed Early
A bullet was found at Wissahickon High School Thursday, leading to an early dismissal, the district announced. The dismissal occurred at around 1:15 p.m. All students and faculty are unharmed and safe. The early dismissal applies only to the high school. (Read More)

The Bucks County man accused of drugging and sexually assaulting six women he met on a dating site laced their drinks with methamphetamines before engaging in rough sex with them, court records state. Amazon Fresh Opening 4th PA Store
Amazon Fresh is expanding its footprint in Pennsylvania, opening its fourth location in the state —and third in Bucks County —in the next two weeks. The Sept. 26 opening of Amazon Fresh's Oxford Valley store comes about a month after another supermarket opened on Street Road in Bensalem Township. Amazon Fresh has stores in Warrington and Bensalem in Bucks County and another in Broomal. (Read More)
Automated Speed Enforcement To Be Proposed For Some PA Communities
New legislation will soon be introduced in Pennsylvania that would allow automated speed enforcement measures in boroughs across the state. Current law allows automated systems to enforce school bus stop arms, and there is also a pilot program that uses automation to enforce speeding in certain work and school zones. However, as a general rule, automated enforcement is not permitted otherwise. (Read More)
2 Eastern PA Restaurants Praised By Bon Appétit In New List
Two Philadelphia restaurants were listed among "The 20 Best New Restaurants for 2024" by Bon Appétit recently. According to the publication, the list took six months to create. In Philadelphia, My Loup, a French cuisine restaurant, and Meetinghouse made the cut. Philadelphia was the only city represented twice on the list, as well. (Read More)
