A man was sentenced to life in prison on Monday, Sept. 9 after being convicted of the kidnapping, robbing, and killing of Matthew James Branning, a Sellersville man who went missing in October 2021 after leaving his job in Silverdale Borough. Michael Allen Stark, 50, of Royersford, was found guilty by a Bucks County jury of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery, kidnapping, theft by unlawful taking, and other offenses. Wegmans has a medicine thief. The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has reported that the Wegmans supermarket at the 900 block of Vansant Drive had a medicine theft at 3 p.m. on Aug. 28.
