1,600 Pounds Of Beef Stolen From Trailer In Philly, 3 Charged
Three men have been charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of beef from a parked tractor-trailer on a city street, authorities said. The three men were caught Tuesday morning stealing 1,600 pounds of beef —worth $7,000 —from a locked tractor-trailer parked in the 7300 block of Edmund Street, State Attorney General Michelle Henry said. Son Shoots Attempted Robber At Mother's Abington Home
A man was shot twice during a home invasion robbery early Monday morning, police said. Abington Police responded at 1 a.m. Monday to a report of a man shot after a home invasion in the 1800 block of Horace Avenue. Police said the female homeowner said a man entered her home and attempted to steal her purse after she returned home from a casino. (Read More)
Man Exposed Himself, Robbed Woman On SEPTA Train: Police
Authorities are searching for a man who they said attacked and robbed a woman who eventually fought him off on a SEPTA train earlier this month. The incident occurred on Sept. 18 at around 8:25 p.m. on the Broad Street Line, between the Olney and Fern Rock stations. A man pulled down his pants and walked up to a woman on the train, according to SEPTA Transit Police. (Read More)

Bucks County Hotel Named One Of Most Haunted In America
New Hope's own Logan Inn has made another haunted mansion list. This one is put out by the AirportParkingReservations team at Philadelphia International Airport, which ranks the top 13 haunted hotels in America on its travel blog site. The Logan, with its haunted spirits roaming the hallways, comes in at number 12 on the list of scary accommodations "guaranteed to leave you on the edge" this Halloween. (Read More)
