• Gather Place Brings Powerful Living History to 3 Bucks County Venues This October (bucksco.today) — Yardley residents can catch a live Harriet Tubman performance at Gather Place on South Canal Street on Saturday, Oct. 10, with limited-seating tickets by donation. The same team is also staging women's history and Tubman programs later in October in Doylestown and Richboro, all designed to bring Black and women's history vividly to life for Bucks County audiences.
   

• Bucks Beautiful Awards $40K In Countywide Fall Grants (patch.com) — Yardley's Congregation Kol Emet is receiving Bucks Beautiful funding to plant 500 daffodil bulbs around its playground and contemplative space, brightening the grounds by spring. The same grant round is backing tree plantings, school gardens, and park upgrades across Bucks County, and local groups can still apply for future funding cycles.
