Snapshot: 'Yardleyhenge' Shows Setting Sun

YARDLEY, PA —He calls it "Yardleyhenge."
Yardley photographer Josh Friedman travels to New York City several times a year to capture several snapshots.

One thing he loves that happens during his ventures in the Big Apple is when the "setting sun lines up perfectly with the north-south avenues, and can be seen between the skyscrapers."
He calls the phenomenon "Manhattanhenge."

Well, Friedman captured a little taste of that here at home.
On Jan. 24, he "stumbled upon 'Yardleyhenge.'"
"The rising sun lined up perfectly with River Road, next to the Delaware River and the West Trenton Railroad Bridge,"
So Friedman took his shot, showcasing a HDR (high dynamic range) photograph from four exposures that he merged.
