Johnston Man Charged With DUI After 'Incident' In Charlestown: Cops
State troopers arrested the Johnston man while assisting the Charlestown police, police said.
CHARLESTOWN, RI — A Johnston man was charged with driving under the influence following an undisclosed "incident" in Charlestown, police said.
Jonathan Vasquez, 23, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Monday by Rhode Island State Police troopers, the state police said in a media release.
The troopers arrested Vasquez while "assisting the Charlestown Police Department with an incident on Old Post Road," the release said.

Vasquez was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and "held overnight pending morning arraignment at Fourth Division District Court," according to the release.
