3 Firefighters Injured Battling Cranston Blaze: Reports
Firefighters opened a second floor door and set off an "explosion," according to reports.
CRANSTON, RI โ Three firefighters were injured battling a Tuesday blaze on Central Street, according to reports.
One firefighter remains hospitalized and the other two have been released, ABC6 said.

"According to officials, crews opened a second-floor door while searching for the origin of the fire, and an 'explosion,'โ occurred, per ABC6.

All occupants of the house on Central Street near Narragansett Street made escaped the fire without injury, according to WJAR.

"Crews said the fire traveled quickly to the attic and the roof collapsed due to the fire," WJAR reported.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, according to WPRI.

"Smoke surrounded the two-story home on Central Street, off Narragansett Boulevard, and the roof appeared to have partially collapsed," the WPRI story said.
