Middletown police reported the following recent incidents and arrests:

• Around 10 am Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, police arrested Stephen Galindez, 36, of Middletown, on a felony charge that would close an alleged breaking and entering case that dates back to April 11, 2010, when the Briarwood Lounge at 93 Aquidneck Avenue had reported money stolen from a cash drawer. Police allege that a pair of black Nike high top sneakers owned by Galindez matched a shoe impression left at the scene, where money had been reported as stolen from a cash register, according to police reports. Galindez was charged on one felony count and was scheduled to appear before the 2^nd Division District Court Thursday to be charged.

• Police arrested Justin St. Pierre, 28, of Barrington, Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 around 7 pm on a felony charge of allegedly breaking and entering a home without consent at 79 Miantonomi Ave.
