Two Arrested After Traffic Stops Monday

Middletown police reported two arrests from Monday Oct. 11, 2010 after performing traffic stops on East Main and Valley roads:
Shaun Patrick Gillooly, 26, of 412 Elm St, Apt. #6, Woonsocket, was arrested Monday around 2:35 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor, after police stopped his car on East Main Road near Oliphant Lane, according to the arrest report. Police at the scene reportedly conducted a field sobriety test and preliminary blood-alcohol Breathalyzer test in which Gillooly allegedly registered a .155. Gillooly was also cited for allegedly refusing to submit to a chemical test.
Shortly after midnight Monday, police arrested Lisa Sutherland, 43, of 3421 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, on misdemeanor charges stemming from an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Superior Court and for allegedly driving with a suspended license. According to the arrest report, police stopped her car on Valley Road after an officer on routine patrol reportedly observed it crossing the "fog line," ran its registration, and found that the registration had been revoked.
