2 Fishermen Escape Sinking Boat Near Block Island
The crew of the More Misery called for help Monday after the boat took on water.

The crew of the More Misery notified authorities that their vessel was taking on water about 10 miles south of Newport, the Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard Station Castle Hill crew arrived and transported the fishermen aboard their ship. Crews dewatered the boat and towed it back to Newport.
Authorities said the fishermen were prepared for an emergency and had a raft, immersion suits, flares, and an emergency transponder.
