George F. Lenihan, Sr.

George F. Lenihan, Sr.,  of Narragansett, passed away Friday Feb. 4, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Jane (McCloskey) Lenihan for 50 years and was the son of the late James and Ann (O’Malley) Lenihan.

George was co-owner and operator of Pancho O’Malley’s Restaurant in Narragansett and was co-founder and former operator of Ocean Skate Roller Rink, Adventure Land Mini Golf Park and Moo Moos ice cream stand. He is a veteran of the United States Army, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday Feb. 8th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield.  Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Monday Feb. 7th from  4-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford Street, Providence, RI 02903.
