• New horror movie filmed in RI has some great buzz. Here's the story (providencejournal.com) — A new killer-bee horror movie, "Stung," was filmed in August in both North Kingstown and East Greenwich, bringing nearly 100 cast and crew to Rhode Island. Produced by East Greenwich-based Verdi Productions with several local producers, the film stars Iris Apatow and Justin Long and centers on a sleepover turned terrifying when a swarm of African killer bees attacks.
