People's Credit Union holds 3rd annual Day of Purpose (cuinsight.com) — North Kingstown High School students recently took part in Rachel's Challenge, a national anti-bullying and kindness program funded by People's Credit Union as part of its statewide Day of Purpose. A visiting speaker reached 1,300 students, volunteers helped hundreds sign a kindness pledge banner, and a new Friends of Rachel Club was formed to keep the effort going locally.
   

2. Courage Builder for RI's workforce (pbn.com) — A North Kingstown-based firm, Courage Builder, is helping local students and early-career workers plug into Rhode Island's fastest-growing industries, from the blue economy to life sciences. With more than $500,000 in recent grants, the two-person team has launched hands-on programs, externships, and K-12 initiatives that connect residents to real employers, new ocean tech labs, and even early-stage startup support.
   

3. High school scores, stats, recaps from September 25 games in RI (newportri.com) — North Kingstown field hockey fans can celebrate a strong 4–1 win over South Kingstown, highlighted by two late goals from Aleya Olmstead and sharp goaltending from Lily Dillon. The roundup also notes that Saturday's high school games statewide were postponed or moved to Sunday because of the storm.
