Accused Killer In Pawtucket Stabbing May Flee To Haiti: Cops

Police confirmed the slain woman was the accused killer's wife.

PAWTUCKET, RI — The man tabbed as the murderer in a Pawtucket stabbing has ties to Haiti and may try to flee the United States, police revealed.

Police also identified the slain woman as the wife of accused killer Oldon Louis.

Lida Louis, 34, was stabbed to death at a residence on Sterry Street Sunday night, police said.

Oldon Louis, 34, was charged with her murder but remains at large.

"The investigation has revealed that Oldon Louis has known ties and connections to Haiti and may attempt to flee the country," the Pawtucket Police Department said in a media release.

Oldon Louis' unoccupied vehicle was found in Providence shortly after the killing, according to police.

"Detectives are actively following up on all leads in an effort to locate and apprehend Oldon Louis," the release said.
