PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on sexual assault charges, police said.
Olusegun Richardson, 40, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Sunday on a warrant, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Special Victims Unit and the Providence Police Department locating" Richardson, the release said.
Richardson was processed at state police headquarters and "held pending morning arraignment," according to the release.
Less than two weeks ago, Richardson was also arrested on sexual assault charges, the state police said in a media release.
That time, he was arrested by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section following an investigation by the Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit, according to the release.
