• Westport, Tiverton, Dartmouth, Little Compton battle blaze, pet dog revived, firefighter transported to hospital (fallriverreporter.com) — Tiverton firefighters assisted Westport crews battling a serious house fire attached to the local post office, where a pet dog was revived and a firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion. All three pets are expected to survive, the post office should reopen quickly, and investigators say the blaze is not considered suspicious.
