West Warwick Man Wanted In CT Also Catches Cases In Rhode Island: Cops

The West Warwick man surrendered to the law, police said.

WEST WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick man wanted in Connecticut was also charged with crimes in Rhode Island, police said.

Caine Pincince, 45, surrendered at the Hope Valley Barracks and was arrested about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Pincince was charged with giving a false document to an agent, employee, or public official, obtaining more than $10,000 worth of property by false pretenses, accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, fraudulently obtain more than $500 in public assistance, the fraudulent use of more than $500 worth of food stamps, and fugitive from justice out of the state of Connecticut, the release said.

Pincince faces charges of issuing a bad check and larceny in Connecticut, according to the release.

Pincince was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake, the release said.
