If only he'd worn some underwear
Ildefonso Rodriguez, 23, of 217 Rockridge Dr. and Miguel Alvarez, 20, of 66 Jervis St. were arrested on Mason Street on Tuesday after police pulled over a black Pontiac after noticing the vehicle's tail lights were out. According to reports, three men were in the car, and police could see the back seat passenger moving around as they approached. Suspecting he was hiding something, officers quickly illuminated the area, and allegedly saw Rodriguez putting something in his pants.
Rodriguez was removed from the vehicle and police noticed a large bulge in the back of his pants. Between his buttocks, officers reportedly found a bag of marijuana packaged into four separate bags. They also noticed that the suspect was not wearing underwear and, when they instructed him to spread his legs, a separate bag with a large white rock- later identified as cocaine- fell from his pant leg onto the ground. Police reportedly seized 45 grams of cocaine and 25 grams of marijuana from the suspect. Rodriguez was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute narcotics.
