Would You Consider Giving the Gift of Pride to Parents This Christmas?

Give the gift of pride to parents and join with The Dream Center as we empower parents in Pickens County to provide Christmas for their families and experience the blessing of exchange.

The Dream Center of Pickens County is partnering with churches and organizations to open the "Santa Shop" in The Dream Center during the month of December, 2013.

Instead of delivering gifts directly to needy families, you or your organization would donate unwrapped toys to "The Santa Shop".

A small price will be placed on each item-somewhere between garage sale and wholesale prices.

Participating organizations will receive admission tickets that can be given to families needing Christmas assistance.

This ticket will allow them to shop in The Santa Shop. A wrapping station will be provided in the shop for parents to wrap their own gifts at no extra charge. Parents with no money for gifts will be given the opportunity to work in the Santa Shop to earn money to purchase gifts for their families.

On Christmas morning, parents in poverty will experience the same joy as those in the suburbs; watching their children open gifts they secured for them from the efforts of their own hands.

Proceeds from the sale of the toys will be used to pay the unemployed parents who work in the Santa Shop to earn money for their gifts.

Join us as we empower parents in Pickens County to provide Christmas for their families and experience the blessing of exchange and reduce the dependency for outside assistance.
