Wesleyan Churches Sending Supplies to Oklahoma.
Faith Wesleyan Church in Little River, SC has secured a tractor trailer truck and is now in the process of filling it with items for those whose lives and homes were devastated by the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma.Anyone in the surrounding vicinity of Easley is invited to contribute items and help fill the truck. Please feel free to bring items to Easley First Wesleyan Church located at 104 West 6th. Ave. in Easley and Church members will make sure they are taken to the Upstate collection site for loading on the trailer.
The truck will be in the upstate for loading on June 27th collection must be ended on June 26th.
Clothing is not needed at this time but a list of suggested items has been provided:
Baby Formula, blankets, and diapers are in very short supply.
Non-perishable foods, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, towels and washcloths, large plastic ice chests, safety masks and glasses, work gloves, shovels, leaf and lawn rakes, tarps, small aluminum lawn chairs (workers are having to sit on the ground to rest)
Pickens County folks are some of the most generous around and our friends in oklahoma very much need all the help they can get. These items are suggestions. Other items in these general categories will be welcomed.
