• Community Trunk or Treat hosted by Greenville Masonic Lodge (mycountylink.com) — Families in Greenville can mark their calendars for a free, family‑friendly Trunk‑or‑Treat at the Greenville Masonic Lodge on Sunday, October 25, from 6–8 p.m. at 200 Memorial Drive. The lodge parking lot will be filled with decorated vehicles, costumed volunteers, and candy stations, and residents are encouraged to bring their own decorated cars and treats to share.
   

• Duke Energy reports over 5K without power across western NC, Upstate (foxcarolina.com) — Thousands of Duke Energy customers across the Upstate, including the Greenville area, are without power as of Saturday afternoon, with more than 5,600 outages reported in western North Carolina and South Carolina. Officials and FOX Carolina urge residents to stay tuned for restoration updates and use available apps and alerts to track when service will return.
