Upstate fabric company explains cause of red dye leak in Brushy Creek (wspa.com) — A non-toxic red dye leak from KM Fabrics discolored Brushy Creek in Greenville's West End last Thursday, but officials say the water-soluble colorant poses no environmental harm. The Greenville-based mill self-reported the problem, worked with city and state agencies to contain it within hours, and is now repairing the damaged drain before fully resuming operations.

SC: University community remembers Sept. 11, 25 years later (wyff4.com) — North Greenville University, just outside Greenville, marked the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with campus flags, a firefighter stair climb, and moments of reflection before a home football game. Students born after 2001 joined faculty, first responders, and athletes in honoring the lives lost and the heroism shown that day, before the NGU football team defeated the University of Charleston 42–31.

5. Bob Inglis (R-SC) (ithaca.edu) — Former U.S. Rep.
