• Fired Mauldin officer used Flock 166 times to track ex, documents show (wspa.com) — A Mauldin police officer was fired after city officials concluded she repeatedly misused the city's Flock license-plate camera system to track a former significant other's vehicle. City documents say she ran 166 searches over several months, calling the conduct a serious breach of public trust and incompatible with continued employment in Mauldin. 
• Public presses Greenville leaders to act on Flock cameras (wyff4.com) — Greenville residents are pressing city leaders to reconsider or remove Flock camera surveillance after several Upstate officers, including one in Mauldin, were fired over alleged misuse. During Monday's council meeting, members heard concerns but took no action, while one councilwoman emphasized existing policies and the need for more public information about how Flock is used and regulated.
