• South Carolina man was killed and three are charged with murder, officials say (thestate.com) — Orangeburg readers should know that 41-year-old resident Jamar Johnson was fatally shot on Seawright Street early Sept. 8, and three people now face murder and related charges. Deputies and the coroner say Johnson died at the scene, and investigators are still working to clarify what led to the killing.
