• Extra doe tag added to South Carolina hunters' base set this deer season (whosonthemove.com) — Simpsonville hunters now get an extra doe tag in their standard set this deer season, as southern Greenville County falls in Game Zone 2 where the season opened August 15. State wildlife officials hope residents will use that additional antlerless tag to better balance the deer herd, reduce crop damage, and improve long-term hunting quality, while following updated tagging and reporting rules.
